The Headhunter

This is funky number that's in the style of Herbie Hancock and the Headhunters. After the melody is traded around the ensemble using different combinations of instruments, there is a trumpet solo (great for funky or even outside playing), a break down which contains several short but challenging horn solis, followed by a brief, but high energy tenor sax solo. A great piece for a strong funky ensemble.
