About Phil Dwyer

Phil Dwyer has been a fixture on the Canadian, and international, music scenes since he was a teenager. Phil lived in Toronto from 1988 to 2004, during which time he was a first-call sideman in studios, concert halls and jazz clubs. He was a featured performer, arranger, composer and/or producer on hundreds of recording sessions including Juno Award-winning albums with Hugh Fraser, Dave Young, Guido Basso, Joe Sealy and Don Thompson.He also toured extensively in Canada, Europe, Asia and South America. From 2004-2014 Phil resided on Vancouver Island during which time he appeared on Juno winning releases from Molly Johnson, Terry Clarke and his own Changing Seasons project.

In December 2013, in recognition of his contribution to Canadian society, Phil was appointed as a member of the Order Of Canada. He is currently enrolled in the Faculty Of Law at University Of New Brunswick.
